Notes: For primeval100: challenge 254: Pteranodon
Connor looked down at the little creature and smiled. “Isn’t it adorable?”
The pteranodon stood no higher than his knee, its leathery wings being used to help it balance as it stumbled around the nest. When they’d chased the adult back through the anomaly, they hadn’t realised that it had been protecting a nest; it was only afterwards that they found the youngster.
“Before you ask, no, you can’t keep it,” Becker told him.
“But we can’t just leave it; it’s helpless.” Connor looked at him with pleading eyes.
Becker glanced at the baby pteranodon. It was kind of cute...
